OPTIFAST® Weight Management Program
OPTIFAST® is a medically supervised weight management program that closely monitors and assesses progress towards better health and emotional well-being. The program utilizes a full meal replacement plan that transitions into every day meal preparation, in conjunction with education and support.
The average amount of weight loss using the OPTIFAST® program is more than 50 pounds. Research indicates the program can help to reduce blood pressure and cholesterol, and blood glucose, in particular, has been shown to drop more than 35 percent from baseline in patients with type 2 diabetes completing only four weeks of OPTIFAST® treatment.
